概要
This scholarship aims to provide financial support to self-funded international students from countries with low numbers of students accepted into Japan, who are outstanding both academically and personally. It is intended to contribute to reducing financial worries and enhancing learning achievement.

| Qualifier | Persons falling under any of the following items. （1）Privately-funded international students enrolled as regular students or those enrolled at a university in Japan (including graduate schools; hereinafter referred to as ‘university’) under an inter-university (including inter-faculty) student exchange agreement, who are enrolled in April 2025 or who are scheduled to be enrolled in the autumn semester of the 2025 academic year. （2）Individuals for whom the duration of benefits, should they be accepted, would be equivalent to at least one academic year. （3）Persons originating from countries or regions specified separately, whose status of residence in Japan during their stay is ‘Student’. （4）In addition to the above (3), students from Ukraine and other countries or regions considered by the university to require special support. （5）During the period of scholarship receipt, recipients shall not receive any other scholarships administered by us, and the total amount received from other organisations shall not exceed ¥600,000 per year (equivalent to ¥50,000 per month). [Loan-type scholarships (those requiring repayment) and tuition fee exemptions are excluded.] （6）Individuals with a track record in volunteer work, international exchange activities, or similar endeavours, or those demonstrating a strong desire to engage in such activities. （7）Individuals who intend to keep us informed of their current activities and circumstances even after the scholarship period has ended. （8）Those who can obtain a recommendation from the head of the university at which they are enrolled (or are scheduled to be enrolled) at the time of commencement of payment. |
